Introduction about six sigma event
It was in the year 2005 that the concept of Six Sigma Excellence Awards was envisioned
by SCMHRD. The purpose was to acknowledge, encourage and honour the adoption of
Lean and Six Sigma methodology in the industry. From a humble beginning with 37
companies in the first year, the 2008 edition of the awards saw tremendous participation
and support from 75 companies with 112 projects. After the resounding success of
last year, we proudly present LEAN AND SIX EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2009.
