The Corporate Excellence Awards (CEA) is an annual event conducted by the SCOPE club, SCMHRD, that offers a platform to corporates to display their industry-related projects, which exhibit advances in performance, efficiency and productivity across several domains around a central theme. CEA was introduced as Lean and Six Sigma Excellence awards in 2005. LSSEA was one of the first events conducted by the academic fraternity for the corporate world. The inaugural edition of LSSEA had 37 participants, and it has been consistently increasing year on year. The event gathered a great response among corporate companies and is now one of the well-known events across the country.
LSSEA continued its journey as Corporate Excellence awards with widened scope inviting entries across different domains. CEA partners with eminent industry professionals for project evaluations and to provide valuable insights for the participants. The event now also serves as a forum for businesses to exchange best practices and recognizes them for their creative and methodical application. Facilitating lasting relationships between industry and academia through a platform for learning and knowledge sharing has become the main goal for the event.
